These connectors are perfect for reducing 1/2" pipe down to 1/4" pipe, when using large systems. They are inserted in-line at a point adjacent to an AQUAvalve. They provide a water tight connection unlike many other types of reduction fittings. They work in exactly the same way as the 1/2" to 1/4" cross connector but this fitting has one connection for 1/4" pipe whereas the cross connector provides two connections for 1/4" pipe.
